Hi Katie! This was taken on the Kennicott Glacier. It was a really rough road to get out to McCarthy, then a 5mi trek into Kennicott, but it was worth it! We spent 3 days (incl. travel) out there, which was long enough to go glacier hiking and explore the mining town bldgs. I think they have a big party out there on either July 4th or on Labor day :)
